Position Summary:

The Growth Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the oversight, development, implementation and execution of the Nixon’s global digital media channels. They must operate with an eager, entrepreneurial, innovative mindset and cultivate strong connections within the Nixon global organization.

Working within the DTC team, this role is responsible for maximizing digital marketing channels to maximize revenue by increasing new customer acquisition and customer retention efforts across the key regions for Nixon; Australia, North America, Japan and Europe. A key aspect of this role is to identify new revenue channel and growth opportunities for Nixon globally.

The role will collaborate closely within the Nixon DTC / digital marketing teams to achieve or exceed overall Nixon predetermined digital marketing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:
  • Execute best-in-class media campaign executions & performance through proactive optimizations and effective campaign management.
  • Develop insights and empower internal teams to understand performance results and opportunities to key Nixon stakeholders to scale profitably in digital marketing channels.
  • Bring fresh ideas and approaches to campaign executions for incremental improvements and program growth to reach business objectives.
Core Duties:
  • Management and oversight of Nixon’s marketing efforts on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other real-time biddable media platforms and customer acquisition channels.
  • Ongoing optimizations efforts leveraging platform machine learning algorithms, best-of-class campaign architecture, forward thinking management approaches and a data centric monitoring of account performance.
  • Identify and test new growth channels for Nixon to increase revenue on Nixon.com.
  • Ongoing analysis and optimization of proactive and reactive campaign frameworks to align with overarching strategy and result trending.
  • Working closely with Nixon’s marketing platform teams on introducing new initiatives, building vendor relationships with key marketing platforms and ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge within each platform.
  • Evaluations of key-performance-indicators (KPIs) daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Analyze tactical campaign performance data and identify optimization opportunities, campaign growth areas, and campaign performance challenges with recommendations.
  • Work with the internal stakeholders to evaluate, implement and maintain relationships with key partners across inventory, audience data providers and campaign UX integrations for customized digital media solutions.
  • Stay apprised of industry news, platforms and opportunities for Nixon, conversations with potential vendors specifically within the programmatic / marketing automation space
  • Develop ad copy, execute keyword research, audience targeting discovery.
  • Pull detailed reporting and data for internal reporting.
Key Experience Requirements:
  • Proven track record of managing ecommerce campaigns with aggressive ROAS and growth goals.
  • Expertise with “value based” optimization frameworks and campaign management approaches within biddable media platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with direct publisher RFPs, negotiations, contracts, and ad serving.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning and expertise on how to manage digital marketing programs to empower platform algorithms to improve performance.
  • Experience in the management of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly channel budgets, performance forecasting, and reconciliation of platform fees.
  • Ability to analyze and interrupt performance data + Nixon business data to develop insights and action plans to maximize investments that includes identifying variances in performance and proactive forecasting of results.
  • Hands-on experience with self-serve programmatic media (DSP) experience managing CTV, display and video campaigns (i.e. The Trade Desk, AppNexus, Media Math, Beeswax).
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in business, marketing, statistics or relevant field preferred
  • 6+ years of managing real-time, direct response digital media campaigns for a brand or within a digital agency.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, paid social (i.e. Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok ads) & biddable programmatic DSP platforms)
  • Hands-on data analysis, detailed reporting and performance modeling
  • Proven track record driving direct response ecommerce campaigns with aggressive growth and while maintaining strong ROAS.
  • Advanced understanding of media campaign setup, optimization, strategy and reporting frameworks for paid search and/or programmatic buying platforms
  • Understanding of digital marketing ecosystem from digital media to creative development and data management platforms like DMPs or CRMs
  • Be a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail
Technical Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Current certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Blueprint, and Google Analytics

Position Summary:

Nixon is seeking a Project Coordinator to support and organize the growing list of eCommerce project initiatives. This role requires someone with passion for communication, with an eagerness to understand business objectives and how these can be supported by project management.

The Project Coordinator is a member of the DTC team and manages small to mid-size ecommerce and digital projects to ensure efficient and nimble execution of marketing and eCommerce related projects. This position coordinates cross-functional resources, establishes and manages project timelines, tasks, milestones and deliverables and ensures clarity of roles. They will further provide asset coordination as a key conduit between creative, digital marketing, site ops and development. This role encompasses project management, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight timeframes and a strong voice in timeline management. Key to this role is the capability to communicate cross-functionally and clearly organize, prioritize and delivery projects that contribute to the Global DTC Program.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Collect objectives and priorities from project stakeholders to determine timelines and requirements.
  • Manage timelines and ensure projects and required tasks are delivered on time and in full.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and status can be clearly communicated to cross-functional team members.
  • Capture meeting notes and ensure action items are communicated and completed as planned.
  • Leverage internal project management tools (Asana) to create and manage project plans and tasks.
  • Work closely with the creative team to understand real time status and details of all digital related tasks.
  • Writing briefs for campaigns and content assets.
  • Manage the coordination and delivery of the required assets for Season Launch on Nixon.com.
  • Assisting with coordination of dates and gates in campaign/marketing calendars.
  • Assisting with coordination of larger site initiatives ex. eCommerce re-platform.
  • Anticipate potential issues with active projects or ongoing tasks through quick responses and proactive critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate skilled problem-solving capabilities to determine solutions.
  • Plan and execute new project management tools to help establish efficient workflows.
  • Identify areas where automation and/or tools can help drive time-savings and improve communications.

                            POSITION SUMMARY

                            The Senior Shopify Developer is a member of the e-Commerce Development team that works on small and large ecommerce/digital projects and initiatives including global websites in the US, Europe, AsiaPac + Japan. In addition to being responsible for developing high performance solutions on Shopify platform, the Senior Shopiy Developer will work on in-house development initiatives and provide insight in business analysis, conducting needs assessments, performing root cause analysis, and assisting in key functions involving requirement gathering with internal stake holders. This is a full-time, hands-on role and requires strong web development skills. This position reports to the Director of Web Development & Architecture and works side by side with other Web Developers, Content Developers and QA Engineer; they will be part of a full development lifecycle. They will work at a global level including, but not limited to, the flagship sites Nixon.com (across all regions, globally) to develop and deploy fast and reliable solutions. As the primary, Senior-level development resource they will help drive best practices in general software development and specific to Shopify. They will be responsible for juggling a variety of deliverables in a timely manner to feed a growing and dynamic direct to consumer business.

                             

                            The Senior Shopify Developer is responsible to implement (i.e. design, develop, unit test) technical solutions for web applications based on functional requirements and technical specifications. They should be capable to mentor software engineers and maintain high quality standards. They are responsible to collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize and bring a finished product across the finish line. They should have strong sense of ownership and accountability with a commitment to delivering high quality software that balances technical and business goals. The Senior Shopify

                            Developer needs to have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences at all levels.

                            Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

                            • Practice agile based design-thinking, empirical projects that accelerate results
                            • Drive Scrum practices within and outside Dev team
                            • Share passion and strong desire to deliver sound, scalable eCom solutions

                            • Write neat, semantic, concise, indented, and where necessary with inline documentation
                            • Write optimal code for globally shared codebase utilizing multi-currency and localization
                            • Practice and coach best git repository practices like gitflow
                            • Manage parallel small-to-large size projects ensuring they are tracked with a high level of attention to detail
                            • Provide estimates for new enhancements and write technical documentation
                            • Ensures website compliance with ADA, CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR guidelines
                            • Stays ahead of key industry trends, competitive insights and feature rollouts from Shopify Plus, focusing on how these insights can be leveraged to drive performance improvements for Nixon

                            Key Interfaces:

                            This position interacts with many areas of Nixon and requires communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills with internal stake holders. This role interacts closely with the Site Operations, Creative Studio team, Digital Marketing Team and outside development agency as well as other internal members that contribute to ecommerce projects and deliverables.

                            Qualifications & Education:

                            • Bachelor’s in Computer Science degree or related field
                            • 5+ years practical experience in software engineering and application architecture.
                            • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce industry is must
                            • Knowledge of best practices in experience design and development of e-Commerce websites
                            • Ability to understand complex software problems and provide solutions
                            • A solid understanding of web architecture principles and design pattern

                            • Experience working with multi-site is preferred

                            • Creative problem solving, communication skills, and decision-making skills

                            • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

                            Technical Knowledge and Skills:

                            • 3-6 years of relevant working in Shopify plus stores and hands-on experience in customizing Shopify themes
                            • Experience working with GraphQL, headless CMS (Contentful) and Shopify storefront API
                            • Understand architectural principles, coding patterns and limitations of Shopify

                            POSITION SUMMARY

                            The Digital Designer reports to the Global Creative Director, and is responsible for the design of Nixon.com, email marketing and a wide array of digital marketing materials. The Digital Designer implements the brand standards and seasonal direction set by the Creative Director and overseen by the Art Director. He or She is a member of the Creative Studio team that creates innovative and engaging digital creative across all marketing, ecommerce and digital projects.

                            This position involves sketching, wire framing and designing everything from landing pages and emails to website updates. This position is required to up their sleeves and do production work as needed to implement the assets being used within their projects. This position will ensure that the consumer journey from email to Nixon.com is a well-designed experience and provide flexible solutions based on company goals, standards and feedback. The ideal candidate should possess inspiring and excellent visual design skills and ability to create brand excitement and engagement, as well as familiarity with common UI design patterns and conventions, and have proven experience with user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in order to provide a design perspective to teammates and project stakeholders. Attention to detail and a strong design sensibility are essential.

                            This position works closely with the Studio Team and will have an immediate, consumer-level impact on the Nixon brand. They should be passionate about design and providing the best user experience across all devices. They ensure efficient and nimble creation of this content working in collaboration with stakeholders. They will ideate, create and produce site and channel-ready creative. They will help implement best practices in UX and UI in collaboration with the cross-functional team. They will be responsible for juggling a variety of deliverables in a timely manner to feed a growing and dynamic digital direct to consumer business.

                            KEY FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

                            • Design and create web ready artwork for weekly web refreshes, site sales, new page templates, email, social, and other digital content.
                            • Create graphic assets, banners, responsive landing pages, blog content and websites
                            • Concept and create digital marketing assets for email and support paid advertising efforts based on a creative brief provided by marketing, which are aligned with industry best practices and historical performance data.
                            • Understand and interpret the Nixon brand in the creation of all digital assets.
                            • Partner with creative colleagues on photography and copy needs for creative assignments.
                            • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the development of concepts for all digital marketing. Abide by the review process and timelines.
                            • Knowledge and track record of successful audience “connection planning” between digital marketing assets, target audience segments, and site user experience to maximize business objectives
                            • Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and consumer trends.

                            • Design mobile-first and mobile-focused whilst handling desktop conversion as well across viewports; ensure that all customer-brand connection points meet both business objectives and customer expectations
                            • Multitask and manage multiple small-to-large size projects ensuring all projects are completed with quick turn-around and a high level of attention to detail.
                            • Assure that each graphic element meets production specifications including resolution, ADA compliance, web-safe colors and web size-optimization/sizing
                            • Provides photo editing, retouching and image manipulation skills including sizing, optimization, collage and layering in collaboration with the internal studio team
                            • Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used for graphic design on the web

                            KEY INTERFACES

                            Position has significant interaction with many areas of Nixon, necessitating excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills. This role interacts closely with the Creative Studio team, Creative Director, Art Director, Studio Manager, Photographers, Copywriter(s), Site Managers, Content Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, Dev team and outside development agency as well as other internal members that contribute to ecommerce projects and deliverables.

                            REQUIREMENTS

                            •  Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or art school degree; high school diploma required
                            • 4+ years of experience in relevant field required
                            • Experience working with a direct to consumer eCommerce team and varying web properties
                            • A solid understanding of the design principles and the ability to apply them to complex tasks
                            • Creative problem solving, communication skills, and decision-making skills

                            • Working knowledge and understanding of the roles and limits of web coding technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS
                            • Experience with helping design mobile sites and responsive websites
                            • Experience with web-based PM tools such as Basecamp, Asana, etc.
                            • Preferred: Experience with motion graphics and video editing
